Membership

2015 membership rates are set as follows:

Shearers £25

Non-shearers £20

Shearers membership fees will include them in the 2015 ‘NISSA Net-Tex Colate Sheep Shearing Circuit’. All Shearers must be a member of NISSA to qualify for the circuit. The circuit is open to all 32 counties of Ireland.

Benefits of becoming a member:

For all shearers they are automatically entered into the circuit & compete for the top shearer challenge trophy in each category (Junior, Intermediate, Senior & Open). There will be prizes awarded to the top four in each class.

 

In previous years NISSA have also awarded the following prizes:

• The top placed Northern Ireland Junior & Intermediate will be presented with a new hand-piece at the Autumn NISSA meeting
• Top placed Northern Ireland Seniors may have they opportunity to be selected for (as yet unknown) development tests
